1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MyLocalSaathi ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, business owners, field agents, and anyone else who accesses or uses the Service.

Registration: To list a business or access certain features, you must create an account with accurate, complete information.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@mylocalsaathi.com of any unauthorised access.
One Account Per Person: Creating multiple accounts for the same individual or business is not permitted.
Account Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, harmful, or abusive behaviour.

Accuracy: All business information submitted must be truthful, accurate, and up to date. You agree not to misrepresent your business, services, location, or credentials.
Ownership: By submitting a listing, you confirm you have the authority to represent that business.
Content Standards: Listing content must not:

Listing Visibility: Approved listings are publicly visible to all platform visitors. Business name, address, phone number, photos, and hours will be displayed.

Our Content: All content on the Platform not submitted by users — including logos, design, code, and text — is owned by MyLocalSaathi and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your Content: By submitting photos, descriptions, and other content to the Platform, you grant MyLocalSaathi a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, use, and promote that content within the Platform and our marketing materials. You retain ownership of your content.
Takedown Requests: If you believe content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at legal@mylocalsaathi.com.
7. Third-Party Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., WhatsApp, Google Maps). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms.
8. Disclaimers
No Endorsement: Listing a business on MyLocalSaathi does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of the quality, legality, or safety of that business or its services.
Platform Availability: We strive for high availability but do not guarantee the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend the Platform for maintenance or updates at any time.
As-Is Service: The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyLocalSaathi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

By You: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@mylocalsaathi.com.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in harmful conduct, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive any termination of these Terms.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Assam, India.
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at legal@mylocalsaathi.com. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or a notice on the Platform at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
